We may well split this into more specific categories (design, architecture, film, video) but for the moment will list here some of the key (general) art publications. There is a wealth of quality free material accisseble online so start with some of these clear winners.

1	Artforum Perhaps one of the most well known international art publications. It has a useful, front page, news section and site highlights plus it's packed with international art news and features.
2	Art Monthly A well respected UK magazine on all aspects of contemporary art. Some great writing and pithy reviews.
3	Art News They describe themselves as the "..oldest, most widely-read arts magazine in the world". Has a useful archive of articles from past issues. The entire content is not accessible as they, obviously want you to subscribe to the paper publication, but still quite a lot of useful content.
4	Frieze The major contemporary arts magazine and, through this link, access to their three main areas of activity: The Frieze publication, Frieze Art Fair and Frieze Foundation.
5	Flash Art The website of the international publication which is distributed in 87 countries, six times a year. Founded in 1978 it immediately established itself as the leading magazine of contemporary art worldwide, both for its choice of artists and its coverage of up-to-date trends.
6	Leonardo The leading publication dealing with art, science and technology. There are several articles authored by our advisors in here - search the archive for reflections written by practicing artists.
7	This is Tomorrow ‘this is tomorrow’ aims to become a comprehensive archive of contemporary art, providing those restricted by place or time with the chance to visit some of the most innovative and culturally significant exhibitions around the world. Well worth a look - some brilliant content.
