Saatchi Online - is a massive site with millions of visitors each day. They offer a free portfolio service for anyone who fancies having some of their work online and being ‘associated’ with the Saatchi name!
This all started as part of the Saatchi Gallery website, where masses of artists uploaded their work so that they could have a 'presence' connected to the Saatchi name. In October 2010 the portfolio section of the original site was moved over to www.saatchionline.com, cleaned up, made more modern and less cluttered. The site is now for all artists, including students (previously students had their own section), working in any medium or discipline. Once you register with the site (for free), you can upload images into a clean layout and also include details about each piece, as well as biographical and exhibition information.
If you use the search option on the site, looking for a particular artist, a number of related works also appear, providing a quick method of browsing extra content. There is a considerable amount of material here and you can be part of it for free.
