Blogger - one of the most popular blogging platforms around was launched in 1999 and is now part of the Google empire.

Very quick to set up, you can have a blog up and running in about ten minutes. If you already have a Gmail account or Google account, it is already part of your set-up and can be switched on from your 'dashboard'.

Choose a template, add some text, upload a photo, select some 'widgets' to make your blog more interesting and off you go. We know artists who have set up individual blogs on Blogger for specific exhibitions and then loaded them with images from the gallery and short text descriptions. An ideal way of promoting your work for free to a very large audience.
