Dropdo - is a site which lets you upload images, documents, audio or video files and share them with anyone, simply by sending them a link.

This is brilliant if you have problems sending large files, via your email service, if you want several people to have access to the same file very quickly or if you need people to view a file in their browser without downloading it onto their own machine. What else is good?  It‘s free!

There is a size limit of 25MB and the files stay on Dropdo for an unlimited time.  A slight drawback might be that you can’t delete images yourself (although there is a suggestion this could be possible as the site develops).

Lets face it - everyone you know has a web browser so why not let them use it to view  your brilliant images (or other files) online simply by sending them a Dropdo link!  What it means is you don’t have to mess about setting up special storage services or persuade the people you want to share with to do the same.

It works like this:  You go to the site, click on the upload button, select your file, type in an email address you want to share the image with and hit send.  You can instantly share on Twitter, Facebook and other social media services and send as many ‘share’ emails as you like.  Once you have the link for your image, you can use it over and over again.

If people really want your file on their computer, they can just click on the ‘Download’ button.
